These trees were glowing orange as if some flame was shining. They seem to have their own light, absorbed from the sun and retained. When I passed at dusk, they still shone with a strange, reddening luminosity that only faded a bit. And then, quite amusingly, when night came, it appeared the colder breeze had frozen it away.
